Midweek Musings

Well, coffee with half & half is actually cheaper, calorically speaking. :D It is 155 calories for a cup of coffee with half & half (6 Tbs. = 90 calories), sugar (2 scoops = 70 calories) and Splenda (1.5 scoops = 0 calories). So YAY!!!!

How do we generate jobs/clients for Jef's business? It really doesn't seem like any of this going out is working. He's been a lot of places, and we haven't had even one phone call! Please keep us in prayer, as the money is trickling away. We are trying to trust God, but sometimes we doubt whether we are really in His will.

The kids are doing great - hope you all liked the pictures. They are learning a lot. Jonathan is very quick in Math. Daniel is great at creative things. He made me a beautiful butterfly out of these glo-sticks we got for Halloween. He thinks of things "out of the box". :) Nicholas is just cute & a mischief-maker. He's very excited about his party this Saturday. (I, on the other hand, am worried because there will be so many people here!)

Are you guys doing anything in ministry? I never hear you talk about a church or anything? What happened to the original call on your lives? Just food for thought...

Well, we don't know. We tried helping at church and it never worked. We offered help numerous times and no one ever took us up on it. We went to Celebration Center for 5 years, and people still didn't know our name. No one ever had time to get together. The only people we hung out with (and this was only a few times) were the Woods, our former pastors. We quit going there because we didn't feel connnected, and have been looking for a church since. Haven't found anything yet. We really do want to be involved. I think we're a little gun-shy though. I don't think God has changed His mind, He just hasn't said what we're supposed to be doing.

Thanks for the blog sight. It's nice to catch up on you; when I have the chance. I love the pictuers. Nicholas looks so grown up. . . but then I guess my girls do too. I'll try & get Tony to set up my e-mail so I can send you some updated pictures. May God continue to bless you in numerous ways. . .
